Dynamic Charting Image to png

I've been digging around and wondering if anyone has a link or has done before the dynamic creation of a charting control (any of them), which in itself isn't hard, but then save it off as say a .png?  Something like using maybe a bitmap or stream perhaps? 
Bascially to generate the chart control dynamically on the fly and use it in a report for later.
