cycle through form variables

I have a web page with 10 lines all the same, each line has 8 text boxes, 1 number, 1 name and 6 boxes for dates, 3 pair of start and end dates
line1box1 line1box2 line1startDate1 line1EndDate1 line1startDate2 line1EndDate2 line1startDate3 line1EndDate3, then line2, line3, etc
I need to cycle through each line with a number of edits and validations, so is there some way to set the id names to a variable for the 'line1' part of the id name so I don't have to code 80 different variable names when calling an edit function, something like concatenating strings but with actual ID's from the form
for i = 1 to 10 varID = i box1 = "line" & varID & "box1" sdate1 = "line" & varID & "startDate1" etc, etc editfunction(box1,box2,sdate1, sdate2,etc) varID += 1 next i
