Why would you want to use a templated user control. The example I have found for one is for displaying address information, so textboxes are the main ingredient. You create the templated control and then have to write all the markup for the table layout, or divs, or whatever your going to use to contain your labels and textboxes anyway.
Why not just create a page and write the markup for the page? I mean really what's the difference. It is actually more work to create the control than to just write the page with the markup and controls you want.
