asp.net configuration won't open

Hi there,
I can't open the asp.net configuration. I've just created a new website, and I want to add a login control. I click 'ASP.NET configuration' under 'website' and nothing opens, in browser or visual studio. I do however get a new ASP.net development server icon appearing. When I click open this and click the http://localhost:1194/asp.netwebadminfiles link, it goes to http://localhost:1194/asp.netwebadminfiles/error.aspx.
