File Uploading

At the moment i have been uploading my files to a folder on my C:/ to test them but how do i get the files to be stored on a server? how do i find the path for this?

Also is there a way to change the file name of the uploaded file before it is stored there so that it says something like "Photo001" and so on instead of "Me&JohnPic.jpg"??

I have followed the first video on asp.net as i am only going to upload one file at a time.

Any help?
