This may not necessarily the right place to ask this question, but I
really do not know where else I can find other experts to ask this
simple but important question for me. See, I am always use VB but only
for Windows software, and only now that I am moving toward ASP.NET
(somewhat with apprehension, I must add). Now, as I am starting to
learn, I need to know if I have all that is needed to start a small web
server to test if my ASP.NET program works fine over the internet (I am
planning to access MS Access Database with these softwares as well). I
have a computer loaded with Windows Server 2003, and IIS installed.
Now, somebody told me, if I get a fixed IP connection (as opposed to
the standard dynamic IP connection provided by the ISP), I am all set
to turn my computer to a simple web server. Is that correct?

Simple question, right? Especially for all of you experts. Will really appreciate help here. Thank you so much.
