I would like to be able when someone enters their name and email to sign up for my newsletter to verify that they gave me their real email address by making them open their email and activate/verify it by clicking a link. I do not want them to have to register on my website to be able to receive a newsletter and I am not trying to activate their user account or membership using the CreateUserWizard. How is this done in ASP.NET 3.5 wiht C#?
