I have a website hosted by Network Solutions which supports ASP. I tried putting a simple aspx page on the website. It has a single ASP button and in the button click event I put a single line of code "MsgBox("Hello World")". This code runs locally using the development server but in my hosted environment I get an error:
Showing a modal dialog box or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode is not a valid operation. Specify the ServiceNotification or DefaultDesktopOnly style to display a notification from a service application.
Searching help for UserInteractive mode just talks about something that is gotten not set.
Why shouldn't such a simple thing as a message box work?
