Ok at the very end of it all I need to be able to pull the mac address prefix from the text file that is on this link. and the company name that goes along with it.
Now from what I can tell the easiest way of doing this would be to take every line out that does not contain
(base 16)
and then from there I can store that info into another variable where if needs be I could run another regex that does away with the (base 16) and
separates the mac prefix and the company name
now for the hard part is to write the regex to do it. This is for a C# project I am working on a friend of mine did this with regex and Python and we are
just trying to build identical projects in the different languages to see what the performance differences are.
