Hi. I'm working with a drop down list and a button click event. I want users to choose an Employee from the drop down list and depending on this selection, the button click event will assign an email address to the chosen employee from the list and send an email automatically to them.
What is the most effective way to assign an email address to
each employee for the button even?
I was thinking along the lines of something like this:
Dim strRecipient, stremailTo
strRecipient = ddemployees.SelectedValue
Select Case strRecipient
Case "bob"
stremailTo = "bob@domain.com"
Case "bert"
stremailTo = "bert@domain.com"

End Select
Will this work the way I want it to?
