I'm toying around with an async page setup and I can easily get it going with hardcoded sql, but I'm stuck on how to swap out my sql with a call to my DAL. Can anyone tell me how to replace the sql bolded below and instead use the following: functions.GetXYZ_tableData();
So instead of this sql stuff below a simple call to my function
private IAsyncResult BeginAsync(object sender, EventArgs e, AsyncCallback cb, object state)
{
SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(ConnString);
conn.Open();
SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("SELECT * FROM XYZ", conn);
IAsyncResult ar = cmd.BeginExecuteNonQuery(cb, cmd);
return ar;
}
