Hi
I'm modifying some ASP.NET pages that query data on SQL Servers using the connection strings of the form . ... etc
However, the 3 servers in the live environment obviously have different names than my (single) development PC - i'm not at the same site as i'm developing offline and will deliver them all later.
I wondered if there is a way that i can test my asp pages using my local SQL Server instance without having to change all the connection strings? If it were using ODBC i could simply change the target of each ODBC to point elsewhere, is there a similar thing i can do for OLE DB?
I'm using XP Professional SP3 with SQL Server 2000 and Visual Web Developer Express 2005
