Hello,

Currently I am using the membership control on my site. It works fine. Now I have to add a new functionality such that, when a new account is created by the user, the site should send an email to the user, which he or she has to click to activate the account. I could create a new field in the aspnet_membership table, say User_Verified which will default to false. I could send an email which after the user clicks sets this value to true. My question is when they log in, how could I make this field value as part of MembershipUserCollection which could be retrieved by Membership.FindUsersByEmail() method? If I could retrieve this value, then I could either allow the user to proceed  or ask them to click on the email link. Or if there is a better way of doing it please let me know.

Thanks
