Hi,
I have a number of ddl's on a form which are set to the values held in a sql table. For this Im using a SQLDataReader method. This is working fine for all of the ddl's apart from one which is dependent on another ddl.
When I try to set the value of the dependent ddl using :
Me.ddl_acquis_ward.SelectedValue = Trim(reader("type_acquisition"))
I get the following error :
'ddl_acquisition' has a SelectedValue which is invalid because it does not exist in the list of items.
Parameter name: value
There is definately a value in reader("type_acquisition") as Ive tested using a response.write(reader("type_acquisition")) which displays the correct value.
Can anyone help????
