How to run a windows app from web page?

I need to run a windows application (.exe) from my web page. I have with the following code:
Try 1.
Dim WshShell
WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.Run("c:\winnt\system32\notepad.exe")
WshShell = Nothing
Try 2.
Dim prc As System.Diagnostics.Process
vstrFileName = "C:\CRM\I_Frame\bin\notepad.exe"
vstrWorkingDir = "C:\CRM\I_Frame\bin\"
prc = New System.Diagnostics.Process
prc.StartInfo.FileName = vstrFileName
prc.StartInfo.WorkingDirectory = vstrWorkingDir
prc.Start()
In both the options, the code blocks execute fine, and I can see the notepad.exe in the processlist in the taskManager, but cannot see the interface.
Can anyone help me in this regard?
