I have two dropdownlists on a page both of which are populated at runtime from the page.init event. I set both dropdowns to Autopostback=true which works fine when the first downlist is changed but when the second is changed the first maintains its current state and the selectedIndexChanged event fires for both dropdowns. I toggled enableviewstate on/off but it doesnt make a difference, I think the problem is that the items in the dropdowns are created in page.init but that is the right place to put this code if I need to access the selectedindices (as far as I understand anyway).
