Hi All: Using Visual Studio 2010, I created a web project where I have a master page with some hyperlinks in it. I have a nested master page with another set of hyperlinks in it. My idea was to create a submenu using the nested masterpage, so that any page inheriting the nested master page would show the sublinks underneath the main hyperlinks.
So I have:
Admin.Master
SubAdmin.Master
ASPX page1
ASPX page2
...
I want to be able to manipulate the hyperlinks in the main master page from either the nested masterpage or child pages.
I first tried adding the master directive to the nested masterpage:
<%@ MasterType virtualpath="~/admin/Admin.Master" %>
But when I try to build the project, I get compile errors in the designer like "Public Shadows ReadOnly Property Master() is not ...
