Hi,
I am trying to install SQL Express with Advanced services on a Windows 7 computer. The install progresses along until about 75% of the way when a message is displayed:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 Setup
The following error has occurred:
The specified registry key does not exist
I then have to click cancel. The installation finishes with errors and the SQL engine does not start. The installation is being attempted on a new Win 7 desktop that has Visual Studio 2010 installed. Here is the summary log from the
