I'm not even shure if this is the right forum to post my questions, simply because I've been developing on .net platform for about 4 years. My experience consist maily of converting legacy ASP applications to a .net with C#. Thease application are types where a process is track through its lifecycle, such as work order tracking, log tracking, etc. So they are heavy on data. Nothing fancy here, just display data in a browser (mainly IE), update the record, do some intricate logic, etc. It also included a litle AJAX on the side to help with the look and feel of the app.
After 3 years on the particular job, the contract was canned and I'm finding out that a lot of employers want experience with LINQ, WFS, TFS. What are these technologies, and how dificult are they to lear them? I've googled, and a lot of what I've found was theory - articles of description. Does anyone have a good source? Perhaps a sample project, or code that I can analyze?
