I'm building a site that in ASP.NET 2 that will have a membershp aspect to it. It will require quite a few fields, up to 30, for each member including nationality, sex, status etc.
My question is what is the best approach to use.
1. Forms authentication with my own membership code and database
2. ASP.NET 2.0 membership system with a new custom table for users's profiles
3. ASP.NET 2.0 membership system with a custom profile provider that store user profiles in their own fields.
any suggestions?
