Hi there,
My web site has the following: 3 types of employees: Mechanic / Teacher / Marketing.
All 3 share 10+ common fields and then each employee type has various specific fields.
My data schema is sound (4 tables with correct primary and foreign keys).
My question is should I bother creating 4 classes when all I need to do is data input, mass retrieval and CRUD operations on an employee (be it Mechanic, Teacher etc.)?
I could use table adapters and just collect the information from the web page and update / insert / delete. This seems the simplest but I will still need to create 4 lengthy forms which will have 10 fields the same per form. I would like to do this as efficiently as possible. (If it matters, I'm doing this in vb.net.)

Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks.
