How Can i File Download from remote ip not server in Asp.net IIS(Debugging mode its working fine)

hi any one help me ....
i have webpage with in masterpage i have to file download from repmote Ip not from server... ex: \\192.168.1.1\fildown\sample.zip
i dont it its working fine to me in debugging mode but if i am configure under IIS its not working ..In IIS the \ is automatically replaceing ...thats
\\192.168.1.1\fildown\sample.zip into \192.168.1.1fildownsample.zip  so i cant download the file.i am using VB.net asp.net not C#
