Hello,
I want to assign a InitialValue of RequiredFieldValidator for a Drop Down List so that a user will see something like "Select a profession". But my DDL is bound with a table. Every time, I run my project that DDL of my web page is not showing the "Select a profession" that I set in RequiredFieldValidator property but DDL is displaying only the data from the table.
I do not know what I have done wrong. But I cant figure it out. Can anyone help with this problem ? The following is my code for retrieving the data for DDL and RequiredFieldValidator property.
