Hello
I'm fairly new to asp.net and working in Visual Studio. My background is in javascript and PHP and even then I'm not an expert.
I have an asp.net application which I'm trying to allow data entry into a database through a form.  In my default.aspx.vb (Code Behind) file which uses VB script, I'm trying to figure out how I can get the value of my username and password text field and put it into a variable.
Example:
In Default.aspx:
<asp:TextBox ID="PasswordTextBox" runat="server" Text='<%# Bind("Password") %>' CssClass="Password" />
in the CodeBehind File:
Protected Sub InsertButton_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) Dim sePass As String sePass = EncryptString128Bit(Value from TextBox, Key) sql statement... End Sub To gi ...

Go to the complete details ...
