invoke user control methods from parent page

Hi,
I have a web page and two user controls on that page.
I need to access the public methods of the usercontrols
from the web page.
How do I get a reference to the controls.
I added reference to one of the controls like this:
<%@ Register TagName="Rehabilitation" TagPrefix="uc3" Src="~/SlumManagement/UC/Rehabilitation.ascx" %>
I do get either the tagname or the tagprefix

of this control in the code behind file of the web page i.e
aspx.cs
