Hi All,
I have a web form that features several server-side validation controls all of which are working fine except one: a custom validator. I've read everything I could find on the CustomValidator and have eliminated all of the common issues with it like the text box being blank, etc. The trouble is that the OnServerValidate sub will only fire only on a button click. I need it to validate like the rest of the controls do: enter a number, tab out of the text box, display a message in red indicating an invalid entry. I'm not interested in client validation at all.
