Datatype Double without culture influence

I am trying to convert a string value into a Double where the dot "." should be used as the delimiter instead of the comma "," in other words, the culture setting should not influence the format, it should always use a dot "."
The value of iVertisement.iVertisement.Latitude 44.993292
The value of iVertisement.iVertisement.Longitude is -93.495913
I use the following code:

Although I use CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, it still returns 44,98 for Lat2 and -93,2638 for Lon2 when the culture is set to nl-NL whereas I want it to return dots ins ...
