I have a site running on IIS7 in which I have the need to allow the Graphics Design Company to FTP access a particular folder. The problem is that, accordingly to my Hosting Provider Support Department, In order to give them access to any folder I also have to give them (read) access to the root of the website. They say this is imposed by IIS7.
1-      Is that statement correct about IIS7? Is it true that I have to grant access to the root folder?
2-     Had anyone found a workaround to this issue?
I am not sure this is the right topic to post this question. I apologize if it isn’t.
Thanks in advance,
