How can I encrypt the connection string in Web.config using ASP .NET 1.1

Hi all,

I am new in asp .net. I am trying to encrypt the connection string in Web.config (ASP .NET 1.1). I have searched many resources that ASP .NET 2.0 can use aspnet_regiis.exe to encrypt the connection string easily. However, I cannot find anything for 1.1. Does anyone have the complete examples or links?
