Authorization rules for subFolders?(with root web.config)

Hi there
I have a couple of folders in my website,I did the authorization roles from ASP.NET Web Configuration but it creates the roles in that specific subfolder
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <authorization>
            <allow roles="Developer" />
            <allow roles="ProjectManager" />
            <allow roles="Specialist" />
            <deny users="*" />
        </authorization>
    </system.web>
</configuration>
