Problems with AD role manager provider and IIS7

Hi all,
I am working on a personal project and i am wanting to protect static files in a certain directory.

Here is the basis of my project:
- VS 2010
- ADMembership provider
- AD Role manager provider (from codeproject) 
- Server 2008 R2 with URL Authorization installed.

Basically here is what is happening, everything works fine if i omit the following from the web.config:
