Can somone please clarify something for me. I have a server that i have moved the page file onto another drive. On this drive i have an application that monitors the disk space. The application has sent an email to me to alert me to the fact that the disk drive has dropped bellow 5000mb to 2500mb.
I have ran diskmon to check the drive. All that i can see running from that drive is a backup of a large sql database from this server to another server. My question is, during this process does memory manager copy files into virtual memory, which would explain the massive drop in physical disk space, before dropping the files onto the target server??
