So, we just got the word from Gregory Leake (thanks Greg!) that the Configuration Service 2.0 source is to be released shortly. Now while I'd love to bask in that code for a spell, PDC2008 and Oslo are nearly upon us. So my questions in that regard are:
1) What does configuration look like in the brave new world of .NET 4.0 and Oslo?
2) Is the Configuration Service 2.0 the sort of thing we should expect to see?
3) What would you do for managing configurations in an enterprise scale app about to go into development for delivery in say 18 to 24 months?
A. Keep using Config files as usual
B. Use Configuration Service 2.01
C. Hold out for whatever we see at the PDC
