Hi friends,

I have a server in which I have one domain and three subdomains. All the three subdomains have the same application name so the three share the same users, roles, etc in the aspnetdb database.

Now, I want to do the things in the right way and organize the things a little. For some reason the ASPNET.DB file which is hooked up to my applications is the one in:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data

I don't care too much about this cause I want to share the same DB through all the applications but it takes me to my first question:

1- How can I select which DB file asp.net uses? Is it usually one per server or one per application(APP_Data). How can I make sure all the apps use the same?

Well, the second problem is that I changed the application name for one of the subdomains in its web.config and in the IIS.  Of course, at this point I cannot login in that application since that members ...

Go to the complete details ...
