Hi all,
If I have following code in my web.config file
<authentication mode="Forms">
            <forms name="appNameAuth" path="/" loginUrl="login.aspx" protection="All" timeout="30">
            </forms>

do I still have to create "Ticket" manually in code behind to actually create a login ticket as:
FormsAuthenticationTicket ticket = new FormsAuthenticationTicket
(
   1, // version
   txtEmail.Text, // name
   DateTime.Now, // issueDate
   DateTime.Now.AddMinutes(30), // expiration
   false, // isPersistent
   roles, // userData
   FormsAuthentication.FormsCookiePath  ...

Go to the complete details ...
