Hi, I'm trying to figure out what the theory behind creating a tag cloud is. I would like to display one for my blog application. What information should be used? Should it calculate and get the information based on how many times a tag appears in blogs within a blog category?
I've looked articles on 4guysfromrolla and have seen the codeproject example but neither of them make much sense to me. Any articles or ideas for a beginner? Thank you!
I also looked at how wordpress works. It seems, tags are created one by one but how it is associated with a blog entry is a mistery to me.
