Is this bad practice. Some pages I navigate to a certain page via server.transfer and other I use request.transfer so in the form load to grab a variable i do this:
if (Context.Items["engagementid"] != null)
engagementid = Convert.ToInt32(Context.Items["engagementid"]);
else
engagementid = Convert.ToInt32(Request.QueryString["engagementid"]);
It would take me ages to go through all the code and make it consistent whereas this works perfectly fine, well in principle. Is there actually anything wrong in doing this?
