Over ride Membership method.

I am using a passwordrecovery control to generate random user passwords and send it to the user by email. But the problem is the generated password is really complex in nature. I am looking at this link I found to accomplish a requirement in my project.

This is about over riding the Generate password method so it could NOT generate complex passwords with special characters etc.
My question is, about where the code should go... and how it is executed.
Should I write anything in the PasswordRecovery controls SendingEmail event? 
Where should I have the custom over ride class code (sample in the above link) in my project?
