Hi All,

A generic Application-Communication newbie question really.

I want to create a program (or service?) that other 3rd party programs can attach to (on the same PC)

(eventually securely) and send events/requests and recieve responses/callbacks thru

myservice to my gui and back again.  Good Performance is required also.

[MY GUI] [SERVICE/MYAPI] [3RD PARTY]

These 3rd party programs will probably be legacy c++, maybe .net

Is WCF the way to go with some form of internal comms?

Roughly, how would the 3rd party program query if you where there and then connect to you? and then

send event/recieve callback (assume it could implement my interface or something?)

No real clue at this stage, any pointers very much app ...

Go to the complete details ...
