numeric to int -- round up or round down...

Quick question.

C# code looks like this.   

int claimCountInEachStrata = @claimCountInPopulation / @numberOfStrata;

 if @numberOfStrata does not divide evenly into claimCountInEachStrata what happens? 

 How does it round? 

 example

@claimCountInPopulation  = 25

 @numberOfStrata = 4

claimCountInEachStrata = 6 (integer) or 6.25 (numeric).

I have a second question about how to handle the remainder, for a followup email...
