Hello,
I have a DotNetNuke 3.2.2 site running ASP.Net 1.1. This version of DNN uses Microsoft.ScalableHosting.Security library, which is pre-release of System.Web.Security ported back to .Net 1.1. I want to build another site using ASP.Net 3.5 but to use the same database. Unfortunately ASP.Net 1.1 version of Memebership has slightly different database schema (different parameters in stored procedures) and standard ways to access the same security store don't work.
I tried to use ASP.Net 1.1 library Microsoft.ScalableHosting.Security instead of new one System.Web.Security in ASP.Net 3.5 project with Forms Authentication but get run-time error requiring to use System.Web.Security library.
Is there way to authenticate users of another site running under .Net 3.5 using the database of old site, or at least have them log in into .Net 1.1 site and then pass security token and user credentials to use in t ...
