I have a master page and some of our content pages handle a lot of data as this is a business application. Waiting on the gridview to populate takes a bit of time and until then nothing is displayed. I would like to have the master page load and a progress
indicator on the gridview, or preferrably a progress indicator on the updatepanel on masterpage. I have been searching all over and cannot find a way to make this work. Has anyone solved this issue so at least some of the content loads and is visible to the
user while the gridview loads?
