Split a string into sunstrings using a string not char

I need to split a file into substrings each beginning with --<LINKEDSERVER>. I'm trying to use the string.split method but it seems to only accept char[]. I want to use --<LINKEDSERVER> to delimit the file. See example text below. I would like a collection of substrings that all begin with --<LINKEDSERVER>.
