I have a problem that I'm pulling my hair out over. I have a website written in ASP.Net 3.5 (C#) and installed on a Windows Server 2008 with IIS7.0. It uses standard ASP Membership and the standard login controls. The app works fine most of the time but every once in a while a user gets an error where the membership seems to be lost. After this the user can still access the pages and isn't taken to the login page. They then get random errors because the user is not authorised. Once the errors occur I can even get an error trying to log in with a abd userid or password. I am at a loss to move forward with this and any help would be much appreciated. It can happen within a few minutes of them logging in so I don't think its a timeout issue.
