I have a formview control that contains data from one table and a field (InID) that may contain an ID from another table.  If a record is deleted, and InID isn't empty, I need to open the other table, look for that record ID, and update a field in the record.  This is fairly straight forward.  My question is should I do this in the FormView1_ItemDeleting event or the FormView1_ItemDeleted event?
When I insert a new record, I need to see if there is a corresponding record in the other table.  If there is, I need to update a field in that record, and get it's ID for the InID field.  Also, some of the new record's data comes from the other table.  I'd like to disable those fields by default.  Once the key field is entered, I'd like to see if a corresponding record exists in the other table.  I want to copy over the data for those fields if it does, and enable those fields if it doesn't.  Can I do this? Go to the complete details ...
