Hello All,
This might be more of an IIS question, but I figured I'd start here in case there was a simple way to build a security module to do what I'm looking for.
Essentially, is there a way to either set up a module or possibly configure IIS to maintain a record of IP addresses and hit counts.  Such as, if a user attempts my web site 200 times within a 4 hour timespan, put a 1 hour block on them, or something of the sort.  I imagine that I could build a custom module to do this that would track IPs in the application state, but this seems a little memory intensive, and I'm hoping there is a better way.
Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
chris
