Configuring Custom insert in Sql data source

I have a SqlDataSource1 control and using its Configure Data Source wizard help.

I walk through the steps for INSERT.  On "Define Custom Statements" screen, under the Insert Tab:

INSERT INTO report(firstname, lastname, malefemale, yearborn) VALUES (@firstname, @lastname, @malefemale, @yearborn)
In the Insert Query Builder, I execute query: "1 row affected by last query."  I press OK twice.  Back to the "Tabs" page HOWEVER...

The Next and Finish buttons are still not enabled.  It only allows me to press Previous and Cancel.
