Our application uses Forms Authentication. We're trying to deploy our application onto a virgin Server 2008 server - sort of a test/non-development environment.
We've installed SQL Server 2008 Express - the word express brings a chuckle as it's anything but... - and we've granted full access to the "app_data" folder for NETWORK SERVICE.
When we login into our application, it returns an error stating, "Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance. The connection will be closed."
What the heck? What's going on? Many thanks...
