I had a discussion from a guy in the php world who
believed asp.net has a post and get equivalent to pass data between web
pages. He wanted to know how you pass sensitive data in ASP.NET .I
told him the following and he said that is not how you pass sensitive
data but you also need to post headers. He thought php was easier.
I
keep sensitive data in a database and only pass the index of the
required record using query strings. I test the index or receiving
webpage for 'sql injections etc and also have a login authentication
set before i do anything.
Is this good enough?
