We are using a application that uses .net 1.1 hosted IIS 7.5 (OS Win 2008 64 bit). The application uses DPAPI component and DPAPIAccount is the service account used. Recently the password for this account got expired and we changed it. While trying to change the password in the DPAPI Helper application properties (in componet services) we receive "user account or password entered is invalid" error. Can any one help out on this issue.
